The Williams team suffered a double blow at the Brazilian Grand Prix as their two drivers Franco Colapinto and Alex Albon suffered a massive crash. Alex Albon crashed heavily during the Qualifying 3 and was out of the race as the time for the repair is much less. Franco Colapinto also crashed in Qualifying 1 but his car was repaired on time before the race.
But again unfortunately Colapinto suffered another massive crash on the main straights and the race was red-flagged. The Williams crash gave Max Verstappen an advantage over race leader Lando Norris and he won the Brazilian Grand Prix. Doing all the help to the Red Bull team, Franco Colapinto didn't help the Williams team.
Before the race, Williams was one point ahead of Alpine. But the French Formula 1 team finished on a double podium which made things worse for Williams as they are now only ahead of Stake F1 Kick Sauber who were positioned in the last place. Williams boss James Vowels said that it was their lowest point ever and it hurts them so much.
Now the Brazilian GP impact is giving more trouble to the Williams team as their race in the Las Vegas Grand Prix is looking uncertain. The five major shunts from the last two races have caused unsustainable damage to the team as they ran out of spares for repair.
Will the Williams be back?
The team is now fighting against time to make sure the car is ready before the Las Vegas race which is happening on the 23 November this month. They not only need spares before the race they also need to get the best configuration of upgrades.

Talking about the troublesome situation team principal James Vowels said “There’s no team on the grid that can cope with five major accidents in two race weekends. Simply the matter of spares we carry are not sufficient to carry that amount of attrition.

Vegas, I have high hopes for. We were fast there last year, and I’m confident the car will work well in those conditions. So we will do our absolute utmost to get two cars to the best specification they can be, with sufficient spares around us to make that happen.”
Williams team cars were performing impressively well during the Brazilian weekend and because of the crash, everything is gone. Last week would have been the best weekend for Williams's team in terms of results but it turned into the worst scenario possible.
