Red Bull is desperate to get the young rookie from Argentina- Franco Colapinto for the F1 2025 season. But his current team Williams is not willing to release him unless they get 20 million euros from the Austrian team. Colapinto has impressed everyone on the Formula 1 grid as he came as the replacement driver for Logan Sergeant, who was underperforming throughout his F1 stint. The Latin American surprised everyone with a shocker by scoring points in just his second F1 appearance in the Baku circuit.
After the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the Argentine scored points at the United States Grand Prix held at the COTA circuit. But he is unlucky that Carlos Sainz was already signed by the Williams team even before Colapinto’s arrival for the 2025 season.
Now he doesn't have a seat for the next Formula 1 season. Williams Team principal James Vowels was also willing to allow Colapinto to advance in his career. Former World champion Lewis Hamilton was also very impressed with the rookie and he also assured that he will try anything from his side to get a seat for Colapinto next year.

Reports have emerged that Red Bull and Alpine were aiming to sign Colapinto for the 2025 season. Franco Colapinto could at least be a reserve driver for Red Bull next year. Christian Horner, the Red Bull team principal, was seen leaving the Williams Garage at the Brazilian Grand Prix.
According to sources, Horner and Vowels had a private meeting and Horner negotiated to bring Colapinto into the Red Bull Garage alongside Max Verstappen. But Red Bull also has its own Junior Drivers like Yuki Tsunoda, Liam Lawson, and Isack Hudjar.
Many claim next year will be the last season for Sergio Perez in Red Bull as he is very underperforming this year. If Red Bull decides to sack Sergio by the end of this season, then Franco could be the best replacement for Checo.
