WATCH: VCARB Formula One team designs first fashion-inspired livery in 30 years set to debut at Singapore GP

Singapore GP is getting very special for Formula One teams. Earlier, the Mercedes AMG F1 Team Celebrated Petrona's 50th anniversary by designing a new Emerald green livery. Now HUGO, with Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team, has designed Formula One’s first Fashion-inspired livery in 30 years. 

Fashion-inspired Livery after 30 years

This new dynamic denim design livery pays homage to HUGO’s Iconic style and fashion. This is the first Fashion-inspired design in Formula One since the Italian fashion label and Formula One team Benetton designed a “united colors” livery in the 90s.

No other Formula One team has designed a fashion-inspired livery since the 90s despite many teams partnering with fashion brands. Now in the SingaporeGP VCARB team will be using this new livery. VCARB and HUGO are bringing fashion closer to the track by mixing fashion with motorsport. The team garage will also be seen in a denim theme. Daniel Riccardo and Yuki Tsunoda will be wearing bespoke racing suits and HUGO outfits for the weekend. 

Speaking about the new denim livery in his car Team Driver Daniel Ricciardo said: “Over the years we’ve seen fashion brands join forces with F1 teams and drivers, especially when it comes to outfits, but never have we seen any of the team take this step in full immersing themselves on track too.”

Yuki Tsunoda said, “Fashion is one of my passion points, so to see our team collaborating in such a unique way, beyond our team kit and daily HUGO outfits is super cool, especially since no one else has ever done it before.”  

The VCARB team cars look very good in denim-inspired livery. The team is also looking to bring good results this weekend as we always expect the unexpected at the Singapore GP. Both Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda are very talented drivers and Singapore with its tricky laps could help their talent and seal their place inside the top 10.
