Lewis Hamilton sends heartfelt message for Ferrari team (Photograph: X)
After the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton gave a heartfelt radio address in which he praised his team, thanked the fervent Ferrari supporters, and highlighted the Prancing Horse's road to recovery. Hamilton and teammate Charles Leclerc were also eliminated in Q2, making Saturday a dismal day for the Scuderia in front of the Tifosi.
With positions 11 and 12 on the grid, it was unlikely that they would gain any meaningful points in the Constructors' Championship race. But on race day, things were different. On Sunday, Ferrari moved quickly, as Leclerc used an early undercut to leap several cars. Hamilton used a virtual safety car to match his strategy with the cars around him and raced for a long time on hard compound tyres.
Lewis Hamilton delivered an inspiring statement to his squad and supporters over the radio. "Thanks so much, mate! What a great race, guys! Fantastic stops, strategy, the car felt great today. I'm so grateful, so proud. Grazie a tutti! And for the Tifosi... that was for them," he said. Upon receiving his message, Riccardo Adami, the race engineer, praised him for his performance. He said, “Let's keep pushing. We get that qualifying better, and we can race like that, we will be winning.”

Lewis Hamilton got 12 points while his team-mate Charles Leclerc got eight points. Both Ferrari drivers fell behind Anotonelli, the driver for Mercedes, who had a bad race at his home. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton was happy with his performance as he ended on P4, but the Ferrari pit stop was not that positive because of Leclerc ending on P6. With just seventh race ended in the ongoing F1 season Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton have lot of work to do and must take big steps in upcoming race.
