Here are the reasons why Lewis Hamilton is losing at Ferrari

Hamilton’s poor form

The British driver, after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, said the car is capable of P3, but he is not feeling it. Charles Leclerc did a great job of putting the machine on the podium in a race that is difficult to overtake and push against faster cars. Lewis Hamilton’s poor form is not helping him right now. The struggle after the 2021 season continues, and he needs to rejuvenate and get back to his winning mindset.

Ferrari is not the fastest car

As we all know, McLaren is taking every inch in a race against their rivals. Even at the Saudi Arabian  Grand Prix, Max Verstappen gave his heart out and drove as fast as he could. But Oscar Piastri easily undercut him and won the race with a 2-second lead. So, Ferrari is not even the fastest car that Lewis Hamilton expected before joining them. Last year, they were the second fastest team next to McLaren, but this year they are in fourth, which is horrible for a top team.

Not feeling at home

Fred Vasseur is the actual boss who helped Lewis Hamilton during his GP2 days. He is the one who guided Hamilton into Formula 1, and later he became an F1 legend. So there are now issues in that, but apart from Fred, everything is new for Lewis, including his race engineer. Formula 1 is not an individual sport; and is a team game. Everything should be in sync for a driver to win a race and a championship. Unfortunately, he is not getting the synchronisation inside Ferrari but is slowly moving towards it.

Mercedes sickness

A man who spent half of his career in a brand and won six world titles for them, suddenly moving to a new team and immediately showing results is too difficult. The Mercedes fever is chasing Hamilton, and he expects everything at Ferrari to be the same as Mercedes. To be honest Ferrari team culture, pressure, and expectations are way higher than Mercedes and Red Bull. An entire nation is relying on you and wants you to perform well. So Hamilton should find a way out of Mercedes and enter Ferrari soon.

Charles Leclerc, the young bull

Hamilton is now 40, and his career is nearly over. The current generation of drivers, like Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, has taken over F1 from these old bulls like Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. So, performing against them is very tough, and they are too quick. All they can rely on is their experience. Lewis is finding it hard to outpace Charles as the Monegasque driver has more experience driving a Ferrari.
