Red Bull and Honda’s partnership ends this year with the completion of the 2025 Formula 1 season. The two iconic brands joined in 2019, and for the last seven years, they have won four drivers’ titles and two constructors, making it one of the most successful partnerships in F1 history. The 2023 F1 season was the greatest F1 season victory for a team, where Red Bull won 21 out of 22 races.

From the 2026 season, Red Bull will join with the Ford group for powertrains, and Honda has found a new partner in Aston Martin F1. So, before that, the two brands wanted to celebrate their legacy together as a team. So, for the 2025 Japanese GP, Red Bull has decided to bring a new livery inspired by Honda.

Honda’s first ever F1 car was built in 1965, which was the RA272 driven by Richie Ginther and Ronnie Bucknum. This car won them their first ever F1 victory in the 1965 Mexican Grand prix. After 60 years, a Honda-powered RedBulll car will race with the same iconic white livery inspired by Japan.

Red Bull have teased a new video, calling it the ‘White Bull. ’ This car is a mix of white and Red that looks similar to the Japanse flag. This car was already seen back in the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix. They are bringing the car back this time, which will be the last time of Red Bull and Honda together in Japan.

Their junior team, VCARB, already races with the white livery, but the white was mixed with blue. This new livery brings back the nostalgic memories of Sergio Perez during the 2021 Turkish GP, where he raced against the world champion in a white Red Bull car. Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda will also wear a white race suit in Japan.

The 2021 Formula 1 season was the year in which Red Bull won their first-ever world championship with a Honda-powered engine. This was the year Max Verstappen became the first-ever world champion. Let us see if the Japanese Grand prix can pull something special for both the brands this season.
