The Red Bull racing team is now struggling to fight their sister team, VCARB. The first two races of the 2025 season proved that VCARB, the sister of a team of Red Bull, has a more balanced setup. The VCARB drivers, Isack Hadjar and Yuki Tsunoda, performed better than Red Bull.

The RB21 has many balancing issues, which didn't allow Liam Lawson to drive to his full potential. Lawson failed to score any points in the first two races and is now out of the team. So, Tsunoda was promoted to the senior racing team, and Lawson was demoted back to VCARB.

One of the most impressive teams this year was VCARB F1, as the two drivers outpaced many mid-field teams. They are unlucky with the circumstances, but Yuki has already scored his first points for the VCARB team at the Chinese Grand prix Sprint race. Many fans love the livery design of the junior Red Bull Team compared to their senior team.

The VCARB car looks too good, especially the white livery, bringing back memories of the old and dominant Red Bull’s RB19 car driven by Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez during the 2023 season. As nothing was working, the Red Bull team was in desperation to do something new to satisfy fans. They started copying from their junior team.

Red Bull's Special white livery from VCARB

For the Japanese Grand Prix, Red Bull decided to run a special white livery to pay tribute to the people of Japan as the Honda-Red Bull partnership ends this year. This new white liveried Red Bull car reminds us of the RB 19 car used for the 2023 Turkish Grand Prix.

This Red Bull livery is now white and red, while VCARB is a mix of white, Red and blue. The two teams will compete one final time with a Honda engine at the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix before switching to Ford powertrains next year.

Honda’s engine partnership with Red Bull was one of the most successful partnerships in Formula 1. They have won four drivers' titles and two constructors' championships. Max Verstappen enjoyed the most success driving a Honda-powered Red Bull car.
