WATCH: Red Bull F1 car catches fire, driver Yuki Tsunoda gets out of car in time

Red Bull junior driver Yuki Tsunoda was caught in an incident during the Red Bull's Roadshow in Taiwan. His RB8 car caught fire and luckily Yuki escaped the pod.

Red Bull’s Junior Team driver Yuki Tsunoda was performing at an Auto show in Taiwan where he was doing burnouts and donuts with his Renault-powered RB8 Red Bull car. He also did a Heartin donut which was very cute just like him.

But unexpectedly while doing burnouts his car caught on fire and he luckily got out of the car in time. It was a  Red Bull show that happened in Taiwan’s Taichung. Yuki Tsunoda was a clean driver in Formula 1 as he doesn't cause crashes very often. But this time unexpectedly he was caught in an incident which was organized by Red Bull in Taiwan as part of their PR activities. Yuki being a junior Red Bull driver took part in the show.  

Recently Yuki Tsunoda’s teammate Daniel Ricciardo was replaced by Youngster Liam Lawson. He will partner with Tsunoda from the US Gp to the rest of the season. Yuki Tsunoda completely dominated his teammate Daniel which is the reason for his sacking by the team midway. 

Yuki Tsunoda was a japanese driver supported by honda as part of their Honda Formula dream Project. Honda was the engine supplier for Red Bull racing and so Yuki Tsunoda was part of the Red Bull’s Junior Team from 2019. In 2021 he was signed buy Alpha tauri and since then he is racing for them. 

He will remain with RB team till the end of 2025. The Honda Partnership with Red Bull also ending in the same period. Honda will be next partnering with Aston martin Aramco F1 Team from 2026. They will be their primary engine supplier. 

Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll are the drivers in Aston Martin. Alonso is now nearing the end of his career which he started for the second time after giving retirement from Formula 1. Yuki could also replace Alonso after he retires from the Aston Martin team.
