WATCH: Max Verstappen of Red Bull is the ‘Famous Rapper’ in F1

The three-time world champion Red Bull’s Max Verstappen is well known for his swearing over the radio which created controversy in recent races.

FIA has issued a statement regarding Formula 1 Drivers' using Dirty language over team radio. FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem has asked drivers to differentiate Sports- Motorsport and Rappers. Max was well known for his swearing over the radio as he has done it on many occasions and in many races. The reigning World champion Max Verstappen in a recent press conference at the Singapore GP used the 'F word' and got punished for it.

The Stewards Punished Max Verstappen for using dirty language in press conferences which doesn't meet standards and is not suitable for all audiences. The FIA Statement said, “In Particular this is true of statements made by participants in the world championships and thus being role models both inside and outside the sport.”

Formula 1 Drivers in the heat of the moment use the F word or any kind of swearing which is recorded on the team's radio. FIA President Ben Sulayem raised his concerns about Formula 1 drivers using dirty language and said to be responsible as children could watch races with their parents. 

This also ignited controversy as Lewis Hamilton felt the FIA president's remarks were somewhat racial as most of the Rappers were black. Other drivers like Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, and Kevin Magnussen gave their opinions about swearing over the radio. The World champion will Serve Public interest work as punishment. FIA wants drivers to be more responsible and maintain the dignity of the sport. 

But Max Verstappen says swearing is happening in every other sport around the world. But only F1 Drivers were caught as Mic's were attached to their mouth. McLaren's Lando Norris Says not broadcasting team radios could be the best solution for this swearing controversy.
