Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton are finally united at the Maranello factory. The 7-time world champion paid a visit to the headquarters and was greeted by the Tifosi (Ferrair fans). He also posted a picture on his Instagram before the iconic Red Doors, where Michael Schumacher stood 30 years before in 1995.

A Ferrari F40 car beside him makes the picture a cult classic. He then met the company management, employees, and media personnel inside the Maranello facility. Lewis then visited their Fiorano test track and the house of its founder, Enzo Ferrari. Like a new employee, his immersion programme will continue throughout the week, during which Lewis will learn more about his new team and their goals. In his 17-year-long Formula 1 career, this is the first time he will move to a team, not part of the Mercedes family.

In McLaren, he drove the car powered by the Mercedes engine. Then he moved to the factory team, where he achieved all the success and became the greatest. Ferrari will be a new experience for Lewis as he moves out of the UK for the first time. Both Mercedes and McLaren had their facilities inside the UK, which is home to Lewis. But for Ferrari, the Brit has to move to Italy. He has already started learning Italian to bond more with the Tifosi and the team.

Tifosi celebrating Lewis

During his visit to Maranello, Lewis thanked everyone there in Italian and was very happy to see all the support he received in the country. The Italian fans cheered him with chants of “Lewis, Lewis, Lewis” coming from all sides. Ferrari has been waiting for a long time to win the Formula 1 world championships since 2008. Lewis Hamilton is seen as their 'Messiah,’ and together with Charles, makes them the strongest driver pair of the 2025 Formula 1 season.
