The newly signed VCARB driver Isack Hadjar is a huge Lewis Hamilton fan just like many other young drivers on the grid. His fan moment came during last year's Mexican Grand prix free practice session. Isack Hadjar got his chance to drive the Alpha Tauri F1 car at the Mexico City circuit. Many others like Theo Pourchaire, Oliver Bearman, Frederik Vesti, and Jack Doohan all got to test the Formula 1 machines for the first time.
The French driver drove Yuki Tsunoda’s Alpha Tauri car during the session. He was very impressive and he finished 17th ahead of all debutants Doohan, Vesti, and Pourchaire. Isack was a big Lewis Hamilton fan and he wanted to meet his idol in straight face to face on the race track. After completing the session he was asked to slow down his car and come back to the garage. But he unleashed some fan-boy moments inside him. The radio message was very nice to hear check it for yourself.

- RM: “It’s nice, nice long run there. Good Job!”
- Isack: “Yep. Best day of my life mate! (Haha right)”
- RM: “Yeah good job man. Good job.”
- Isack: “That was incredible! Yeah, Thank you.”
- RM: “Hamilton behind you, 4 seconds.”
- Isack: “Yep. all good copy. Is he pushing?”
- RM: “No. No one is pushing you all in sync they took the chequered.”
- Isack: “I want to wave at Lewis! Haha!”
- RM: “Let's pick up the pace. Let's pick up the pace. We need to open the gap. That's ok we will wave at him next time.”
It's nothing new as many Formula 1 drivers in the paddock are fans of Lewis Hamilton or got inspired by him like Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, George Russell, Yuki Tsunoda, Isack Hadjar, and Franco Colapinto. Not only Lewis, but Fernando Alonso also inspired many drivers like Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz, and Gabriel Bortoleto to take up racing as their careers.
Hamilton and Alonso are the only two drivers from the early 2000s era still racing in Formula 1. So new drivers who were born in the early 2000s get inspired by them and consider them as idols. Hadjar has a lot of learning to do in his new team RB Bulls so that he could one day get promoted to the senior team. Young drivers could learn many new things once they start racing against senior drivers like Lewis and Alonso.
