Formula One’s most iconic car was the legendary Ayrton Senna’s McLaren MP4. He won three world championships with this car and its upgraded versions. The Brazilian driver is one of the greatest drivers in Formula 1 history. He died during the 1994 Imola GP race and was still remembered for his skills and character.
In the 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton drove his McLaren MP4 car in his home country and his home city, Sao Paulo, at the Interlagos Circuit, Brazil. Hamilton got emotional after driving the car, and he even carried the Brazilian flag and went for another lap, waving at the fans just like Ayrton Senna did in the 1991 Brazil GP.

Now it's time for another F1 GOAT to try the most iconic car, and it is none other than 2-time Formula 1 champion and former McLaren driver Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard is already a legendary driver despite not winning a world title after the 2006 season.
Despite being the oldest Formula 1 driver on the grid, Alonso is still one of the fastest drivers and is the leading point scorer for his team, Aston Martin. Fernando is dreaming of winning his third Formula 1 title before retiring, which could happen in a few years as he is in the last phase of his career.

Alonso drives Senna's F1 car
The 2024 season is over with McLaren winning their first constructors championship after 26 years since 1998. Many drivers are spending their Christmas holidays with families and going on vacations. But Alonso spent his day very special by driving Senna’s iconic MP4 car with McLaren CEO Zak Brown.
Zak and Fernando are very close; we all know he is the one who brought Alonso and wanted to repeat the Honda magic with the team. They failed during that time, but now they wanted to try the iconic car powered by a Honda engine.
They tested the car in Alonso’s home country, Spain, at the Aragon circuit. Fernando Alonso was joined by Zak Brown and Alonso’s father, Jose Luis Alonso, who also tried the car for the first time. Alonso wanted to give tribute to his father, who made him the racing driver. That is the big reason he called Zak Brown, asking him for a chance to drive the McLaren car. Zak Brown was happy to help, and he himself joined the session and enjoyed his time.
