Formula 1 racing is one of the biggest sports with a huge fan base around the globe. The race is the pinnacle of Motorsports as big auto brands like Mercedes, Ferrari, and Mclaren battle each other to win the championships. They bring the latest innovations into racing and compete with each other. Even in India, the sport is followed widely and many Indian celebrities are fans of this iconic racing sport.
A decade ago F1 races were also held in India from 2010 to 2013 at the Buddh International Circuit, Noida near New Delhi. Fans from all over the country poured into the race track to see the Formula 1 race happening in India. Even many F1 drivers enjoyed the hospitality here and the track layout.
And then came the heartbreak as the organisers and the Uttar Pradesh government had some disagreements in terms of tax payment and the sport never returned to India. Though we saw the first-ever MotoGP race in India at the same circuit last year we are still waiting to see Formula 1's return to India.
