Mercedes AMG F1 team is one of the greatest teams to compete in Formula 1. Given their Formula 1 records, they can easily be placed with Ferrari, McLaren, Williams, and Red Bull. But, for all of these records, they have to thank only one man, and that man is Sir Lewis Hamilton.
With Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes has won 6 drivers' world championships and 8 constructors' championships, and everything came in a row. Formula 1 is the world's toughest Motorsport for constructors, and winning championships in a row was a nearly an impossible task.
Mercedes made it happen and dominated the first phase of the hybrid era from 2014 to 2021. Hamilton's partnership helped them achieve these historic milestones in Formula 1, and now they have decided to pay him a great tribute for all his contributions to the brand and the team.

Greatest tribute to 'Sir Lewis'

The German brand honoured ‘Sir Lewis Hamilton’ by introducing the world’s fastest G-Class SUV in the name of the 7-time champion. The British driver received his Knighthood at Windsor Castle from the Prince of Wales (Now the King of the UK) Charles the Third.
To honour his name and contributions Mercedes launched the ‘Sir Class’ made by German Luxury car tailor HOF. It was designed for almost two years by the luxury brand and now was unveiled at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi before the start of the race weekend. Ferdinand Peter the owner of HOF spoke to the media about the Mercedes car and he said, “Today’s the introduction of the Sir Class, which is an homage to one of the most iconic Formula 1 drivers - Sir Lewis Hamilton."

He added, "Mercedes-Benz has been involved in Formula One as both a team owner and engine manufacturer since 1954, and the new Sir Class is inspired by this legacy. Its launch coincides with driver Lewis Hamilton’s final race with Mercedes this weekend. Hamilton has won six of his seven Formula 1 titles with Mercedes.” It will be a limited edition with only 11 units available for sale.
The Greatest Formula 1 driver who will race one last time for the Mercedes team this week and will be moving to Ferrari another iconic team in F1 from next year. Fans are awaiting this week's final race in Abu Dhabi to see what the champion brings to the table in his final race with the Brand.
