Max Verstappen lost the big chance of bringing points to his team due to a pit stop blunder committed by the Red Bull F1 team. The four-time world champion was running P3 and was called for a pit stop during the Miami Grand prix sprint race. The race started under rain, and after the conditions improved, F1 teams called the drivers for a pit stop.

Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton was the first to go for a pit stop, and the strategic call was outstanding to change from Intermediates to Softs. Max Verstappen also went into the pits, followed by Kimi Antonelli behind him. As Verstappen was released from the pits, Antonelli approached his garage for a tyre change. They didn’t see each other and collided with Antonelli, leaving the pits.

Max Verstappen lost his front wing due to the collision, and he was given a 10-second time penalty for unsafe release from his team. Because of this, Verstappen is now pushed to the 17th position and became the last driver to finish the sprint race.

The Red Bull driver was furious with the unsafe release, as it damaged his front left wing. he was also punished for his team's unsafe release with a 10-second time penalty. Now he has to do something big in the qualifiers to change the tide for his team. Kimi Antonelli also didn’t have the best of the race starts as he lost out to McLaren driver Oscar Piastri by going wide.

Kimi complained on the radio about Oscar Piastri pushing him wide, but the stewards took no action against the australian driver and called it a racing incident. Overall, the 18-year-old's dream of winning his maiden Formula 1 race was shattered into pieces on the opening lap. Even his team principal, Toto Wolff, has to come to the team radio to tell Antonelli it's just a sprint race.

The next will be the qualifying, followed by the main race tomorrow. The Miami Grand prix is always a track that pushes drivers to the limits and presents new challenges. So this year, we are expecting the same kind of results.
