F1 drivers frequently go skiing in snow-covered mountains during their vacations, and Carlos Sainz has made a great joke about it. Wearing ski gear, the Spaniard posted a humorous video on his Instagram on Sunday. Sainz joined Williams Racing in front of the 2025 season after moving residences on the grid. With two victories at the Australian and Mexican Grands Prix last year, he hopes to establish the Grove-based team as a formidable force on the Formula One circuit.
On the other hand, Carlos Sainz has been traveling during his final days off. He took advantage of the occasion to post a humorous clip on Instagram that expressed his passion for skiing."Never miss a fresh powder day!" Carlos Sainz captioned the post.
One of the few drivers to win several races in the previous year was Sainz. After months of negotiating, he finally agreed to join Williams after struggling to secure a spot at a top squad. Carlos Sainz felt unsatisfied with his circumstances. At Maranello, he had to give way to Lewis Hamilton, who was arriving, and no elite team wanted to sign him.

The Spaniard was therefore left feeling upset as a result of this, as he later described how the doors of large manufacturers began to close on him. "It hurt at the time. We all have egos… I have a driver ego and I couldn’t understand it at the time. I still personally cannot understand certain choices that people have made. At the same time, it creates even more of a challenge in me, it even makes me more excited for Williams. Williams is the one that has invested in me, that has backed me up from the beginning, the ones that came to me a full year ago."

The 30-year-old later showed professionalism, though, and came to terms with the circumstance. He has already visited the Grove headquarters in preparation for the forthcoming season and is prepared to join the Grove-based squad. On January 15, Sainz shared his Instagram with the traditional selfie.
Before the F1 75 event in London on February 14, Williams' 2025 challenger FW47 is expected to be unveiled. A few days later, Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon were set to attend the main Formula One event after taking the FW47 for a shakedown session. Melbourne, Australia's Albert Park Grand Prix track would host the start of the 2025 season. The 30-year-old, who is now the circuit's champion, would want to at least get some points during his debut with Williams.
