The already iconic Le Mans track hosted the French GP race weekend, and Marc Marquez won the Tissot sprint race after he outpaced the home hero Fabio Quartararo and his Factory Yamaha. But that is not the highlight, as the 13-lap sprint race gave us many epic battles and heartbreaking crashes, and let us see them one by one.

Video highlights of the 2025 Motogp French GP sprint race
1. Bagnaia loses the front
From the start of this year, two-time world champion Francesco Bagnaia has been complaining about his front end. Ducati has no answers for it, and the Italian is struggling in every race. This is his second consecutive sprint race crash, and we expect many more to come.
The front end is the most important for riders as it gives them full control over their bikes. Bagnaia is not feeling confident about his front end, so he crashed during the sprint race in Le Mans. This is heartbreaking to see, but the Ducati rider feels the issue continues throughout the season and has to adapt soon.
2. Brad Binder’s early crash
The Factory KTM rider Brad Binder missed out on reaching Q2. But he was desperate to move up the order in the sprint and gain more points. But again, he faced heartbreak as he crashed on lap 4 while trying to sneak into the top 5.
3. All orange Battle
The orange army lit up the track in LeMans with Maverick Vinales, Pedro Acosta and Enea Bastianini fighting for the lead against each other. The KTM bikes were simply outstanding during the race, and it was a delight to see three oranges back to back chasing each other. Finally, Vinales tasted victory as Pedro Acosta’s late crash cost him the position.
4. Marc Marqeuz Kamikaze attack on Quartararo
Ducati’s Marc Marquez waited for his chance at the Frenchman after Quartararo defended his pole position brilliantly during the race start. In lap 6 the first kamikaze attack by Marquez was well defended by the Yamaha rider.
In the second attempt, Marquez chose a more straight-line area of the track where the Ducatis are more powerful compared with the Yamaha. He succeeded in passing the home hero, and Quartararo lost back-to-back places after that.
5. Aldeguer down by Marquez
After winning the race, Marc Marquez and the two Gresini racing riders, Alex Marquez and Fermin Aldeguer, are waving at the fans and entering the pits. Marc Marquez suddenly slowed down, and the first-time podium winner Aldeguer didn't anticipate that. He crashed at the factory Ducati’s rear and fell down. Marquez immediately apologised, and the race marshals helped Fermin to the pits.
