Sprint Race Summary
The opening lap was the best as Fabio Quartararo defended the incoming attack from Marc Marquez by going on the inside. Maverick Vinales had a bad start and lost his place to his KTM teammate, Pedro Acosta.
Alex Marquez also tried to launch at Francesco Bagnaia but went wide. The Italian was running for the podium but crashed on the 4th lap. It was a mistake while cutting the corners, and he had a low side. Marc Marquez kept on putting pressure on the Frenchman, and his Yamaha Factory bike was no match for his factory Ducati.
The breaking point came, and Fabio left space in the penultimate corner, and Marquez was through. His brother followed the same strategy and attacked Fabio, clinching the second place. Fermin Aldeguer waited for some more time before attacking the underpowered Yamaha bike and clinched his first podium of his career.
Quartararo and his home fans were very disappointed, and they couldn’t believe what had just happened in the final few laps. But the French rider still has the chance to make it big tomorrow with a different setup, and we can see him win in his home race.
