On the opening lap of the race, Marc Marquez had a bad start and went behind his teammate Francesco Bagnaia. But the sheer power of the Ducati gave him an edge against all others. But remember, Bagnaia is also a factory Ducati rider, and both the former world champions clashed for the lead.

The two Ducati riders tried to get past one another, and in doing so, they touched multiple times. The Ducati garage were so nervous seeing the two battle each other that even one small mistake could end both their races, and the team bosses prayed for a secure race. But the almighty god didn't listen to them.

Marc and Bagnaia continued to fight each other, and in one corner, Marquez had a huge low side and went straight into the gravel. The home crowd was shocked to see the six-time world champion out of the top 10. But Marc was soon on his bike and again started chasing for points. Bagnaia was clearly seeing Marquez behind and approached the corners safely. But Marquez was too aggressive, and he faced the punishment.

In the end, scored points by finishing 12th behind LCR Honda Racing rider Johann Zarco. But Marc Marquez was very happy for his brother Alex Marquez, who won his first-ever MotoGP race after battling him all these years.

The Spaniard went straight to the podium and congratulated his brother for the great feat. Marc predicted his brother would someday win a race this year after seeing his pace and qualifying. The next race will be in France in 10 days; till then, follow sports info for more updates.
