The 2025 Australian GP was a huge disaster for the young rookie Isack Hadjar as he rammed his car into the walls in the Formation lap. The entire weekend was strong for the French man as he outpaced Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson during a free practice session.

He qualified P11 and his teammate Yuki Tsunoda qualified P5 and VCARB was doing great until the main race. The rain spoiled the entire race of both the drivers, Isack lost his car in the formation lap while Tsunoda lost in pit strategy.

The biggest thing that shocked everyone was Red Bull boss Helmut Marko’s comments on Hadjar’s emotional moments after his crash. Isack cried while coming to his garage after the disaster and Lewis Hamilton’s father Anthony was the first to reach and comfort him.

Many fans poured heartfelt messages to Hadjar which even helped him gain confidence after a tough debut in Australia. But the old man Helmut Marko didn’t want to see his driver crying and he said it was embarrassing for him to see Isack cry after his crash.

Isack Hadjar's reply to Helmut Marko

Marko said, “Isack Hadjar did a little bit of a crying show after his crash, that was very embarrassing.” Many slammed the 81-year-old Former driver for his comments and Red Bull F1 team principal Christian Horner defended his chief advisor by saying, “He’s free to speak his mind.”

Now the star racer himself acknowledged Marko’s comments and said he felt embarrassed after watching the video. Hadjar said, “I found it embarrassing myself. I had him on the phone (Helmut Marko), a day later and it’s all good. I have known him for a few years now. I’m used to it and I know how he works. He was speaking in German, he was reinterpreted differently, and I don't know his body language.”

Hadjar also thanked the fans added, “But apart from that, all the love from the fans and the people was I did not expect that at all when I binned it in the wall. So that was nice.” Hadjar is again racing this week at the 2025 Chinese Grand Prix and he will look to win those lost points in Australia.
