5. Oscar Piastri (Hungary Grand prix)

The Australian youngster Oscar Piastri won his first-ever Formula 1 race in Hungary this year. The McLaren driver qualified second next to his teammate Lando Norris, making the team's first-ever 1-2 since the 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix.

The race was under the complete control of Lando Norris until the team orders came and Oscar was handed the lead from his teammate. Piastri won his first-ever F1 race in Hungary ahead of his teammate Lando Norris, and Lewis Hamilton finished P3, making his 200th career podium.

4. Charles Leclerc (Italy Grand Prix)

This year's biggest win for the iconic Red team was their victory in Monza, given by Charles Leclerc. 'The Temple of Speed' is the home to the oldest team on the grid, Ferrari, and they haven't won there since the 2019 season. No celebration will come near like Ferrari’s win in Italy. This year we saw that happen with the tifosis.

The McLaren Pair of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri finished 1-2 after the qualifying, and during the race, there was a team drama that handed Oscar the lead from Lando. Charles Leclerc, who started in P4, went for an early pit stop, criticising the strategy, but found himself leading the race after that, and he went on till the end with those medium tyres and won the race for his team.

3. Lewis Hamilton (British Grand Prix)

The modern-great Lewis Hamilton won his 104th race at the Silverstone circuit, which came to him after two years of waiting since the 2021 season. This also made him the driver to win the most number of times (nine times) at the circuit.

The Mercedes pair George Russell and Lewis Hamilton qualified 1-2. During the race, George Russell had a water leak issue that forced him to retire mid-race. This made Hamilton take the lead in his home country, and the Brit won the race after more than 1000 days. After winning the race, Hamilton cried emotionally, hugging his father.

2. Lando Norris (Miami Grand Prix)

The one race that changed the tide was the 2024 Miami Grand Prix, where McLaren’s Lando Norris won for the first time in his career and then started dominating the grid till the end of the year. The British driver started the race at P6, but in the middle of the race Magnussen and Logan Sargeant crashed and brought the safety car, and Lando made use of the VSC and took the lead after the pit stop. This started the new era of McLaren’s dominance in Formula 1 after a decade.

1. Max Verstappen (Brazilian Grand Prix)

The Interlagos circuit and Brazil welcomed the Formula 1 driver with all rain and a waterlogged race track. The weekend was full of rain, and crashes started from the practice session and continued until the main race was over.

Verstappen came into the weekend carrying so much criticism about his driving style, going winless in the last 10 races, and facing the heat with Lando Norris, the Drivers title on the line. But he observed all sorts of pressure from the outside and unleashed a monster inside him.

The Ducthman took the lead after a blunder from McLaren and Mercedes in the middle of the race, and then there was no looking back. The four-time world champion started flying at the washed-out Interlagos circuit while every other driver struggled to keep their cars on the road. Finally, he won the race with more than 20+ seconds of lead and made it one of the historic wins ever in Formula 1.
