Former world champion and F1 legend Michael Schumacher’s brother and Ex- Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher believes Franco Colapinto has got some love interest from someone beyond Helmut Marko at Red Bull to join the Austrian team. But Franco Colapinto replacing a driver in Red Bull is the hardest part he believes as Sergio Perez has extended his deal with Red Bull and brought many sponsors with him. So his exit is out of the question now despite his poor performance this year.

Colapinto got interest from a senior figure
The Argentine driver has made everyone turn their heads after he replaced Logan Sargeant and scored five points so far in the season. But he can't continue with the Williams team as they are going with Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon pair next year. Colapinto is desperate for a driver's seat next year as he only got a chance in Red Bull and Alpine teams. Alpine Signed Jack Doohan for a five-race probation deal and after that, we should see how it goes next year.
Ralf Schumacher believes Franco and Red Bull deal is almost over and it is very big. He said “From my point of view, Colapinto is fixed with Red Bull. There was probably a very strong interest from the highest level, even beyond Helmut Marko.” Marko is the senior Figure in the Red Bull team who already showed some interest on Colapinto for the Red Bull team. The former Austrian F1 driver serves as the chief advisor and consultant for the F1 team.
He is employed by Red Bull group owner Mark Mateschitz who is the head of Red Bull GmbH. But the senior Red Bull team already has Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez as their drivers. The junior team VCARB has Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson as its drivers. The junior team still haven't confirmed the new Zealander for next year. Lawson on the other hand is also performing very well for the team. Red Bull is now caught in a Gordian knot kind of situation in choosing drivers.
