The Williams boss was very gentle in appreciating the young drivers for his skills during the race. James said “We scored a point last week with Franco. Well done again for that. A really impressive drive under the pressure you are facing from the teams, behind you." He was particular about Colapinto's move over Fernando Alonso. At the same time, he also warned about Max verstappen who in that same situation would have taken him out.
Next year Williams driver Colapinto will make way for Carlos Sainz who is coming from the Ferrari team to join the squad. Franco Colapinto will be looking for a new opportunity in some other teams. But right now the options for him are looking very bleak. But still, there is hope for him as many teams would like to keep him as a reserve driver after seeing the youngster's racing talent in his few races. Liam Lawson was one of the rookies who scored points at the United States Grand Prix last weekend.
