The McLaren team was very impressive during practice session 3 of the Mexican Grand prix where they finished 1 and 2 at the end of the session. The first day of the Mexican GP was full of Red flags and many cars spun and collided bringing the safety cars out many times. The second Practice session was an extended session as the Tyre maker Pirelli wanted to test their 2025 sets of tyres with the current F1 cars.

Now the Final Practice Session 3 is complete and we have McLaren as the leader followed by Ferrari’s Carlos sainz and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Drivers like Alex Albon, George Russell, and Charles Leclerc returned after repair in their cars. Russell came out with a new chassis without a new engine and gearbox as it could lead to a grid penalty for him. Williams driver Alex Albon came with a new engine which is came from one of his existing pools.
The reigning world champion Max Verstappen also came with an old engine from his existing pool to avoid penalty. Verstappen complained of having no rear grip in his car in low-speed corners. Piastri and Norris dominated the session completely by remaining in P1 and P2 followed by Carlos Sainz and Max Verstappen.
Mercedes driver Hamilton was also impressive as he finished ahead of his teammate George Russell in fifth. Charles Leclerc finished sixth after some improvements to his car followed by Yuki Tsunoda and George Russell in eighth. Kevin Magnussen finished 9th and Liam Lawson finished 10th.
The final spots on the grid were occupied by Williams driver Alex Albon in 11th, Stake Kick Sauber F1 driver Valtteri Bottas in 12th, Williams driver Franco Colapinto in 13th, Red Bull's Sergio Perez in 14th, Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso in 15th. The next five drivers are Haas driver Nico Hulkenberg finished 16th followed by Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll, Alpine's Esteban Ocon in 18th, Stake Kick Sauber F1 driver Zho Guanyu in 19th and Alpine's Pierre Gasly at 20th.
