He is currently running 9th on the grid. Lawson was on the edge of saving his driver seat next year so he is trying everything he can by giving his best in every session possible. Liam Lawson or Yuki Tsunoda are rumoured to be the next drivers for Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen. When pushing the car to its limit he spun at the penultimate corner which was a great escape for him as he could have crashed straight into the walls damaging the car very badly. The New Zealand driver is having a pretty good session at the Mexican GP FP3.
Many drivers needed help finding grip during the session. The championship leader Max Verstappen and his Red Bull Teammate Sergio perez complained about not having enough grip on the fronts. They ran off the track many times, making some nervous stops to save the car from hitting the barriers. Both the McLaren drivers were the quickest as Oscar Piatsri and Lando Norris are leading the session followed by Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz and Red Bulls Max Verstappen. Mercedes Hamilton finished fifth after the final practice session.
