2025 will be a great year for two Formula 1 legends, Michael Schumacher and Max Verstappen. Something joyful will be happening in their personal life. The 4-time world champion Max Verstappen will become a father next year. The Red Bull driver and his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, have announced the news via social media.
Verstappen and Kelly have been living together since the 2021 F1 season, along with her daughter Penelope. Kelly Piquet is the daughter of former three-time F1 world champion Nelson Piquet. She has also been a Brazilian model for many years. But the happiness does not end because the legendary Michael Schumacher will also become a grandfather next year as his daughter Gina Marie has announced her pregnancy. The daughter of Corinna and Michael married her long-time boyfriend Iain Bethke in Spain earlier this year.

Michael will become a grandfather.
She posted the happy news on her Instagram with many balloons beside a little horse. The balloons read "Baby,” and Gina said, “My new rider, coming April 2025.” She also tagged her husband and wrote, “Impatiently awaiting the arrival of our little girl.” Gina’s brother Mick Schumacher, in response, commented, “So excited,” as he will become an uncle next year. Gina and Bethke married last June, and only close family and friends were invited for the wedding. The guests were not allowed to carry any smartphones or devices, considering privacy for Michael Schumacher’s physical condition.

The German driver considered one of the all-time greats in F1 history had a life-changing accident in December 2013. Since then he has been out of cameras and is still recovering. Only a few people, including his brother Ralf Schumacher, Ross Brawn, and Felipe Massa, have visited Michael all these years, and his health condition is unknown.
In the last 10 years, there have been several attempts made to get information about Schumacher's health conditions. There was also an attempt of blackmail seeking $15 million from Schumacher's family. The blackmailers had confidential health reports of the world champion that were stolen from the hospital. That was the biggest reason the family moved Michael back to their home.
