In the last three rounds of the ongoing Formula 1 season Max Verstappen and Red Bull have struggled a lot on the track. They have been challenged by McLaren and Ferrari in Miami and Imola while Mercedes held them back in Monaco which frustrated both Verstappen and Red Bull.
Now, Max Verstappen’s father Jos Verstappen slammed Red Bull Racing and said its dominance era is about to end. "The era when Red Bull had the dominant car seems to be over now," Verstappen’s father told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf after the race.
“Maybe they should start focusing a bit more on racing and mutual communication again, rather than on other things... There will be races where Red Bull will be in good shape again, but I am very curious to see how they are to solve this. Something needs to happen there," he further added.
'They need to identify the problem'
Further speaking about the ongoing troubles on the track Jos Verstappen said that Red Bull needs to identify their problem. He said, "Red Bull needs to find out where this problem is coming from because it is clear that teams like Ferrari and McLaren are getting closer. Max has still been able to mask that somewhat, but the big difference with Sergio Perez is becoming more and more obvious."
