Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton finished in seventh place in the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix. The race lasted 78 laps but was dull and uninteresting for fans. Besides a massive crash on the first lap, nothing exciting happened. Even Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time world champion, recognized that the race lacked excitement.

Speaking to media he said that it was the most boring race of his career. He said, “I think because of the crash, everyone switched to the other tyre and just managed at a very slow pace. One of the most monotonous races I’ve been in, but that’s Monaco for you.”

The 39-year-old driver's reaction indicated his complete disinterest while navigating the 3.3 km track during the 78-lap Monaco GP. Hamilton wasn’t alone in finding the race dull; the world champion also described it as a total bore.

Hamilton’s performance was disappointing, ending in a seventh-place finish. Several factors contributed to his inability to make a significant impact. Despite the race being over, Hamilton does not hold high expectations for the upcoming Canadian GP, citing a lack of excitement for the event at the Gilles-Villeneuve racing circuit.

What did Max Verstappen say about Monaco GP?

Red Bull's triple world champion Max Verstappen described Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix as "a bit boring" after starting and finishing in sixth place. It was the first race this season where Verstappen didn't make it to the podium.

He previously retired in Australia after just three laps due to a brake issue. "Overall, the weekend is cool, but Sunday is a little bit boring, unfortunately. However, the scenery is still great," Verstappen remarked.

"If we can find a way to race a bit better, why not? That would be my preferred solution. No one wanted to stress their tyres too much because you know you can't pass around here, so not exciting. It's a bit of a shame," Verstappen said.
