F1 world champion Max Verstappen will soon become a father this month as he and his partner Kelly Piquet are expecting their first child. The couple announced their parenthood last December through their social media pages. Verstappen is now defending his F1 title, and if he succeeds, he will become a five-time world champion. This also makes him the only Formula 1 driver after Michael Schumacher to become a five-time world champion in a row.
But he is going through a rough patch, and his team, Red Bull, is struggling with a balance issue, and they are now desperate to give Max the race-winning machine. He will be competing in the Miami Grand Prix this weekend, which started Red Bull’s downfall last year.
Verstappen is now standing third in the driver's points table, with Oscar Piastri leading the championship battle against his teammate Max Verstappen. Apart from winning Formula 1 races, Max now has the responsibility of a father. His girlfriend Kelly Piquet is carrying his child, and they are expecting the child within this month. A recent picture of Kelly Piquet shows that the baby will arrive very soon. This will be Kelly’s second child, as the first one was born to another F1 driver, Daniil Kvyat, who broke up with her.

Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet's baby's arrival date
The baby is expected on May 6, according to reports, and we still don't know whether Max Verstappen will be there near Kelly during the time of labour. The Miami Grand Prix starts on 2 May, and the race will happen on May 4. With the championship title on the line, Verstappen has to decide his priorities. After Miami, the next race will be on May 18, the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Italy. There were also rumours that Max Verstappen’s baby is a girl child, as Kelly celebrated her baby shower in Monaco on a pink-themed yacht.
