F1 world champion Max Verstappen is expecting his baby in a few weeks. The Red Bull driver announced last year that he and his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, are expecting their first child in 2025. The couple has been living together in Monaco since the 2021 F1 season.

Kelly already has a daughter named Penelope, born to former Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat. But she is now with Max Verstappen and will give birth to his first baby in a few weeks. The couple recently bought a yacht worth $15 million. Max named his yacht ‘Unleash the Lion’ with a lion badge on top of it.  Only close relatives and friends of their family were present at the event. The event was themed all-pink, raising questions regarding the baby's gender. 

The couple already named their child ‘Little Miracle’ when announcing their parenthood. Verstappen recently won the Japanese Grand Prix for the fourth time in his F1 career. He will next be seen at the Bahrain Grand Prix and Saudi Arabian GP. He also expects his baby during this same period, so we should wait and see what the world champion decides to do at that time. Max Verstappen may miss one or two races if he wants to be with his girlfriend.

Red Bull is going through a rough patch; they have become slower than the McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes teams. Verstappen is their only hope to win the drivers' championship back. The Formula 1 Constructors' championship is out of reach now, and even Christian Horner said that their focus is only on retaining the driver's title this year.

Max Verstappen is currently standing second in the driver's championship next to Lando Norris, who is leading by one point. McLaren also leads the constructors' championship ahead of Mercedes and Red Bull. Verstappen is completely focused on his job to win the title for the fifth time.
