Max Verstappen’s girlfriend Kelly Piquet shows off her baby bump

Max Verstappen has recently liked one of the posts of his girlfriend Kelly Piquet. She was showing her baby bump and very soon Max will become a father.

The Formula 1 driver and four-time world champion will become a father within a few months. He has been living with his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet and her daughter Penelope in Monaco since 2021. The Red Bull driver is now in Miami for the Miami Grand Prix race. He is third in the drivers' championship table.

The couple announced their parenthood last December when both Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet posted pics of Kelly’s baby bump. Now it has been four months since then, and a recent picture of Kelly shows the baby bump has grown much bigger, and we can expect baby Max anytime soon. 

This year is sort of a rough patch for Max as he has won only one race in Japan. His RB21 is slower compared with McLaren and Mercedes cars, and only Verstappen is making the difference as a driver. The balance issues in his car are not allowing him to extract full power from the chassis.

Max Verstappen’s Future in F1 and Fatherhood

Many are speculating that Max might leave Red Bull by the end of this season and join Mercedes, which is looking like the next big team in F1. The 2026 regulations will have new power units with new power units having a bigger battery power and usage of flex fuels that are greener than current premium fuels. 

But before that, Verstappen will give all his strength to retain his F1 title this year. If he does, Max will become a five-time world champion and only the second driver after his uncle, Michael Schumacher, to win 5 titles in a row. Looking at Kelly’s baby bump, Max might achieve this great feat as a father. The F1 2025 season ends in December, and the baby is expected in May or June. Kelly shared the image of her baby bump on her Instagram, captioning “Lazy Sunday with my bestie.” More than 180k followers liked the post, including Max Verstappen.
