The Miami Grand Prix is one of the most attended and fan-favourite events in the Formula 1 calendar. Since its inception in  2022, the Southern US city of Miami has garnered some of the best audiences in the whole calendar. Within a short span of time, the race in Miami has become one of the best. Donald Trump’s Open Declaration

President Trump visited the Miami Grand Prix as part of his election campaign. The biggest news was him going straight to the McLaren garage and visiting the crew ahead of their Grand Prix. He called him the Driver’s Lucky charm, which is eventually true as McLaren won the race with Lando Norris securing his first ever F1 victory.

But it sparked debate, calling the McLaren F1 team biased and political. Most of them pointed their fingers towards Team boss Zak Brown. The American refused all those comments and called McLaren a non-political group, and Trump’s visit was not political but a friendly visit.

Lando Norris’s First F1 win

The McLaren driver is now on the verge of becoming a world champion, but it all started in Miami last year. Max Verstappen was on his victory run, and only at the Miami GP, McLaren stopped Red Bull’s victory run and started winning races. They became the fastest team on the grid, and Lando even fought for the title against Verstappen.

This year, they are already leading at the front with Mercedes and Red Bull behind them. So, Miami Grand Prix will always be a special event for the British racing driver, and last year’s victory will give him more confidence, and he will carry the same momentum. 

Miami GP’s maiden winner

Max Verstappen became the first-ever Miami GP winner in the 2022 season, which is his second F1 title-winning year. He fought against Charles Leclerc in the first half and started dominating the grid as the season progressed. He passed both the Ferraris and took the lead, and secured victory by more than 3.6 seconds. The whole of Miami rejoiced as Verstappen became the first ever victor.

Celebrities in the house

The Miami Grand Prix is one of the biggest race events in America, and so the celebrities' arrival is imminent. Last year’s race also saw many celebrities like Tom Brady, Ed sheeran, Kendall Jenner, Elon Musk, Camila Cabello, Donald Trump, Serena and Venus Wiliams were present.

Lewis Hamilton’s art of defence

Hamilton got a chance to take P6 after Gasly and Lando Norris collided in the 2022 Miami Grand Prix. His former Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas also wanted P6, and he started attacking Lewis from behind. The two best friends fought for the position, and Lewis went all-out against the Finnish driver. Bottas tried many times to pass Lewis, but the seven-time world champion was too good with his attacking style of defence. Finally, Bottas gave up, and Lewis Hamilton ended in P6 behind his teammate Russell.
