Lando Norris confirms breakup with Portuguese model Margarida Corceiro amid Dutch GP success

The British Formula 1 star Lando Norris has confirmed his split from Portuguese model Margarida Corceiro, ending their relationship that had been under the public eye for the past year. The 24-year-old McLaren driver, known for his impressive performances on the track, recently revealed his single status, putting to rest speculations about his love life.

Norris and Corceiro were first linked in May last year, with the couple often spotted together at various events, sparking interest among fans and media alike. However, as reported by The Sun, the pair have now decided to part ways. A source close to the situation mentioned that their relationship "cooled off," and that Norris is now "free and single."

During a public event leading up to the Dutch Grand Prix, Norris subtly addressed his relationship status when asked about his plans, including whether he would like to have a dog. Norris responded, "If I do I need a girlfriend, and I don't have one so," confirming that he is no longer in a relationship. The lighthearted remark was a clear indicator that his time with Corceiro had come to an end.

Despite their breakup, neither Lando Norris nor Corceiro has made any official statement on social media regarding their relationship. This contrasts with Norris' previous breakup with another Portuguese model, Luisinha Oliveira, where he shared a heartfelt message announcing their decision to part ways. 

In that instance, Norris had expressed that they had "mutually decided to end our romantic relationship but remain good friends." Corceiro, who was once seen driving around Monaco with Norris, had previously dated Chelsea footballer Joao Felix.

Their relationship also ended last year, shortly after Felix's initial loan spell at Chelsea concluded. The model's high-profile relationships have often drawn media attention, but she has remained relatively private about her personal life. As Norris continues to focus on his Formula 1 career, particularly his pursuit of a first-world title, his personal life seems to have taken a backseat.
