Honda prepared for Brace impact
Honda seems to be well-prepared for the design conflicts they are going to have with Adrian Newey shortly next season. Talking about the challenges Honda Racing corporation president Koji Watanabe said “We’re pleased to see Aston Martin taking steady steps to strengthen their competitiveness as a team.
We’re very encouraged that they have solidified their management structure, including Newey’s involvement. I've worked with Newey before, and he has an incredible passion for building fast cars. While we build the PU they will build their car's chassis. We’re prepared for some conflicts. Of course, it's not just with Newey.”
He also said there were many times when they had clashed with each other but somehow they managed to create the best car in the world. Watanabe also expects the same here at Aston Martin and he believes Newey will lead them and make Aston Martin the best team in the world.
