For the first time in Formula One sports history the FIA tested the Formula 3 Gen3 Evo car with all women drivers driving the cars. The event had 18 elite women drivers testing Formula 3’s next-gen cars for the 2024-2025 Formula E world championship season. The FIA on Saturday hosted an all-women's test session for the upcoming world championship at Circuit del Jarama in Madrid.

World's fastest women
After the session, Abbi Pulling driver from Nissan topped the session which lasted for three hours. She is a 21-year-old driver from Great Britain. She is also leading the F1 Academy Championship which is only for women drivers. Her competitors the W series champion Jamie Chadwick (Jaguar TCS Racing) finished second while McLaren development driver Bianca Bustamante finished third.
The Gen 3 Evo machines can accelerate from 0-60 in just 1.82 seconds. It is 30% faster than a Formula 1 car which is used today for racing in Formula 1. These cutting-edge technology machines are offered for Women drivers and everyone enjoys driving these incredible machines thanks to the FIA for this great initiative in bringing up women drivers.
After testing the cars and leading the session Abbi Pulling said, “This was a really exciting session. It felt amazing to put what I’ve learned in the simulator into real life and experience the thrill of driving a Nissan Formula E car. Overall, I’m happy with the performance, and I look forward to more opportunities to drive in the future.” It is a long-term goal for the FIA to promote Gender equality in Formula 1 and other Motorsports. It also tests the women drivers their driving skills, track experience, and help learning new technology and skills.
The CEO of Formula E was very impressed with the women drivers and said, “This is just the beginning. Today’s test has been an important milestone in our goal to provide more opportunities for Women drivers, and a first step towards greater equity at the top level of Motorsport.”
