Red Bull’s chief advisor Helmut Marko has launched a new verbal attack on Lando Norris, calling him ‘Mentally Weak’ as he is challenging Verstappen for this year's Formula 1 title. Marko says Max Verstappen is a mentally strong driver compared to Lando Norris. Norris won his first Formula 1 race at the Miami Grand Prix this year with 11 podiums. The Red Bull boss is confident that Max Verstappen will win his 4th driver's title this year.
'Mentally weak compared with Max' - Helmut Marko
Marko says “He’s the best, he’s the fastest, and, above all, he has the mental strength to theoretically fight for the world championship more than Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris. We know Norris has some mental weakness. I’ve read about some of the rituals he needs to do to perform well on race day.”
There are still 6 races remaining for this year's Formula 1 calendar and Max Verstappen is leading the title race with Lando Norris by 52 points. Marko feels Lando Norris lacks the Mental toughness to win a Formula 1 world title.
But McLaren is continuously improving their MCL38 which is the fastest car in the grid surpassing Red Bull. They were very dominant in the last 6 races as both their drivers secured wins, and podiums and scored points for the team.

McLaren Boss Andrea Stella is confident about his team. He says “It doesn't change our attitude. We are people with feet on the ground. We will keep our feet on the ground and try and actually add more and more speed to the car because we want to stay in this privileged position. But if we don’t improve, the others are going to pass us.”
The British team has already passed Red Bull in the constructors title fight and they are inching closer to the drivers title. We expect Red Bull to show resilience and they will fight back. Norris has the speed he just needs to show his mental toughness and win this year's driver's title.
