Greatest F1 driver: We asked fans to answer the poll and here’s the result

The Sports Info Xtreme took a poll to find out the greatest Formula 1 driver of all time in the modern era. Thousands of fans voted for their favourite drivers on the list and finally, we have one winner. The biggest rivalry was between British driver Lewis Hamilton and another 7-time world champion and icon, Michael Schumacher. Let us take a look at the poll and its results. 

Poll for the Greatest F1 driver in Modern era

Many Formula 1 drivers like Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Lando Norris, Nico Rosberg, Sergio Perez, Damon Hill, Mark Webber, Sebastian Vettel, Max Verstappen, Mika Hakkinen, Valtteri Bottas, Kimi Raikkonen, Michael Schumacher, Charles leclerc, Daniel Ricciardo, and Fernando Alonso were part of the poll.

First round

In the first round, Max Verstappen, Kimi Raikkonen, Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Sergio Perez, Lando Norris, and Lewis Hamilton were voted as the best drivers and the rest of the grid were eliminated.

Second round

This was a big round as there were many faceoffs like Lewis vs Lando, Sergio vs Sebastian, Max vs Kimi, and Michael vs Fernando. But after a tough decision, fans voted for Max, Michael, Lewis and Sebastian Vettel.

Third round

It was like the clash of the Titans, as former rivals like Sebastian Vettel faced Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen faced his uncle Michael Schumacher. Again, this was not easy for the fans as they eliminated Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel.

The finale was between the 7-time F1 world champions Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton. After a tough battle, Lewis Hamilton won the Greatest Driver of All Time poll by a small margin. As we say, no F1 driver can claim to be the greatest driver of all time as the racing conditions and regulations change. But we at Sportsinfo Xtreme are overwhelmed by the support Lewis Hamilton has in the F1 world.
