Anthony Hamilton - Father

Hamilton’s father Anthony Hamilton is a British citizen who traces his origin to Grenada. He was married to Carmen Larbalestier with whom Lewis Hamilton was born. When Lewis was 2 years old his mother split from her father. After 12, Lewis grew up with his father and trained hard to become a racer. 

His father Anthony worked multiple jobs to spend money on Lewis Hamilton’s racing career. With less money, he bought Hamilton a fourth-hand karting car and Lewis won races using that car. Anthony again remarried Linda Hamilton and had a son named Nicolas Hamilton (Hamilton’s half-brother).

Anthony was the manager of Lewis Hamilton from 2007 to 2010 after some tensions they decided to part ways in Professional life. Lewis needed more independence over his career so he asked his father to step back from his role of taking care of him. But he always remains part of Hamilton camp and never misses seeing his son race in F1.

Carmen Larbalestier - Mother

She is a white British woman who married Anthony Hamilton in the late 1970s.  After their divorce, Hamilton lived with his mother for many years during that time his father married Linda Hamilton. Carmen also remarried Raymond Lockhart and had two children Nicola Lockhart and Samantha Lockhart.

Lewis wanted to become an F1 driver and for that reason, he moved with his father and pursued his ambitions. Linda Hamilton - Step Mother

She is the stepmother of Lewis Hamilton, but her influence on Hamilton’s career is equal to his biological mother. The 7-time world champion loves both of his mothers unconditionally and equally as they are seen together during races. She has been taking care of Lewis Hamilton since the age of 12 after he moved from his mother to focus on his racing career with his father. Nicolas Hamilton - Stepbrother

He is the stepbrother of Lewis Hamilton and is affected by Cerebral Palsy, a health condition that affects the legs. He doesn't have control over his physical movements and he uses a wheelchair to move around. Lewis loves his stepbrother very much and he even takes care of him. 

Hamilton helped his brother Nicolas become a racer with a modified race car designed according to his movements. The 31-year-old fought all the odds and he could now walk despite his doctors saying he could never walk again in his life. Nicolas is always seen during races and he is the first one to run to Hamilton to hug him after he wins races.

Samantha Nicola Lockhart- Stepsister’s

After Lewis Hamilton’s father and mother were divorced, the F1 champion lived with his mother and his two daughters who were born of her remarriage to Raymond Lockhart. Despite being sisters of 7-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, Nicola and Samantha are living a calm life in London. Lewis often posts videos and pictures of his nephews on his Instagram.

Nicole Scherzinger- Girlfriend

Hamilton’s only known girlfriend in his 18-year-long career was American singer Nicole Scherzinger. She is called by her stage name ‘Pussycat Dolls’.
