F1 icon and 7-time world champion Michael Schumacher had a grieving accident when skiing in the French Alps. The incident was too serious as the Formula 1 legend was left paralysed for many months before he recovered. The Former Ferrari driver is now under medication in his home and was not seen before the cameras for more than a decade. He was moved to his house because of miscreants trying to steal information about his health condition by breaching privacy for money.
Many attempts were made to breach the wall and get news regarding Schumacher’s health condition. One attempt was successful as his former bodyguard’s master plan forced two people to collect information regarding Schumacher’s treatment. They stole crucial information regarding the F1 legend's health condition from a computer.
Then the family were blackmailed with 40 million euros. They threatened to release the medical reports on the dark web If the family failed to meet their demands. A police complaint was given and the Detusch police arrested the criminals.
Yilmaz Tozturkan a nightclub bouncer, his son Daniel Lins and Markus Fritsche a former bodyguard of Michael Schumacher were found guilty and were given prison sentences. The data they stole included 900 pictures, 600 videos and crucial medical files regarding his health condition and treatment.
But, Michael Schumacher's family is unhappy with the verdict and demands more severe punishment from the judiciary system. It was the punishment given to Fretsche that they were not happy about as he was the mastermind behind all of this.
Michael Schumacher's wife is not happy.
Yilmaz was given the biggest punishment of 3 years in jail while Fritsche was given only 2 years. Michael Schumacher’s wife Corrina is upset with the verdict as she felt her former bodyguard should have been given a more severe punishment as he breached their trust by stealing the data.
She released a statement regarding this verdict and said “We have appealed against what we consider to be the far too lenient sentence for Mr Fritshce. In my opinion, he was the mastermind behind this. What still shocks me most is the massive breach of trust. He should receive a punishment that deters any potential copycats.”
The legend is still kept under the radar and his health condition is unknown to the outside world. Only people close to the family like his former boss Jean Todtt, brother Ralf Schumacher, Son Mick Schumacher, and Former teammate Felippe Massa are seeing him regularly. We hope the F1 champion completely recovers and be back at his feet very soon.
