What is a triple crown?

A triple crown is nothing but a driver winning all three prestigious and historic races across different racing leagues. Triple Crown has the Monaco Grand Prix, 24 Hours LeMans endurance racing, and Indianapolis 500 racing.

Only one driver Graham Hill has achieved this triple crown in history and Fernando Alonso won two of the three triple crowns. It's now time for Sebastian Vettel to have a go at the iconic and prestigious crown to make history for the second time. He already won the Monaco Grand Prix in 2011 and 2017.

By the end of the 2022 season, Vettel retired from Formula 1 and hasn't competed in any other racing leagues. He is doing many welfare duties around the globe. The champion can again return to racing but this time for the most iconic Endurance league 24hrs LeMans.

The hypercar division is the top division and now Sebastian Vettel is one of the considerations for the Porsche car. The last time Porsche won the LeMans was in the year 2017 and after that, they were beaten by Toyota and Ferrari. However, Porsche is the manufacturer with the most championships, having won the LeMans 19 times.

Vettel could be the best of the best to give them their much-needed 20th championship. urs Kuratle said “We are short of one driver, that is mathematically true. I'm not ruling it out. Sebastian and Porsche AG, they have a friendly relationship. They talk to each other. I cannot rule it out at the moment, but it's not set.” If he wins the 24hrs LeMans it could be a crown in the jewel for the 4 time F1 champion.
