Formula 1 is now under a second mid-season break and the next race will be happening in Austin, Texas. This new interval has put many teams working tirelessly to bring some upgrades to their cars in the US GP which will be the last time we will see any team bringing upgrades.

Ferrari is one of the teams that will be bringing small upgrades to their cars in the upcoming United States Grand Prix. The Maranello-based Italian team is still in competition for the constructor's title despite Red Bull and McLaren Dominating them.

Ferrari's New Upgrades for the US GP

The Italy-based team principal Fred Vasseur has spoken about the confirmed updates the car will receive during the US GP. He also gave some details about next year's cars which Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will be driving.

He said “I think it will be probably the last one everybody: that will be true for us, but it will be true for other teams. Now it's so tight overall in  the last four or five, six races, if you have a look on the grid, it may get tight and every single bit can make a difference.”

The singapore GP for Ferrari was very disappointing as both Ferrari drivers failed miserably during Q3. carlos Sainz crashed in the final qualifying while Charles Leclerc had issues with tyre preparation. But despite all these issues Charles finished fifth and Sainz finished seventh.

The new upgrade won't make any difference in the driver's title race. But the Italy team will compete for the constructor's title this year with 6 races remaining on the calendar as the driver's title is out of reach. They are 75 points behind Constructors title leader McLaren. If both their drivers finish races at the top of the tables in the next races they could hope for a constructors title this year.

The biggest news for Ferrari this year was signing 7-time world champion Lewis Hamilton for 2025 in a multi-year contract. Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes achieved huge success from 2014 to 2020 winning 6 championships together. But now the Brit will be moving to the Ferrari team which may be his last stint as he is now 39 years old. The Maranello-based team had some iconic drivers like Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen, Sebastian Vettel, and Fernando Alonso. Lewis will join along with these Iconic drivers who drove for Ferrari in Formula 1.
