F1 2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix FP3 Results: Lando Norris dominates the final practice session at Imola

McLaren driver Lando Norris came out on top in the Formula 1 final practice session at Imola. The British driver found his rhythm and dominated the entire grid. His teammate Oscar Piastri fell short and finished second, while rival Max Verstappen came in P3 at the end of the session.

FP3 Session Summary

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen was on song today as he set the fastest lap time in back-to-back laps. The third practice session felt unusual, as many teams didn't send their drivers for the outlap for the initial 10 minutes. 

Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton was the first to come out, followed by Nico Hülkenberg and Bortoleto. Red Bull’s junior driver Isack Hadjar showed great pace today, and he is expected to finish inside the top 10 during qualifying.

The Mercedes team faced some issues with their car setup as both struggled to set the fastest lap times. Home hero Kimi Antonelli struggled during the initial part of the session, but with the soft tyres, he finished impressively in P4 ahead of his teammate.

McLaren driver Lando Norris was impressive today, as he is the fastest man on his team. His teammate Oscar Piastri came close but fell a tenth of a second slower. Most of the drivers started with the mediums and hards before trying the softs one last time before qualifying. The next will be the qualifying session, followed by tomorrow's main race. Slight rain is expected in a few hours at Imola.
