Lando Norris won the Singapore GP which was considered one of the toughest in recent times. The temperature was above 30 degrees and many felt the heat and humidity before and after the race. The two Brits Lewis Hamilton and George Russell both skipped their media duties after the race citing health issues. Usually, drivers used to meet the press and give answers during race weekend.

Lewis Hamilton started the race in third position, but Mercedes failed to give him the right strategy and he lost his position and ended in sixth place. His teammate George Russell finished in 4th despite having a threat from Charles Leclerc of Ferrari.

But post the race George and Lewis were absent and media duties were handled by Team Principal Toto Wolff. He said “Unfortunately neither George and Lewis will be attending the media pen this evening as they recover from the exertions of this evening's race. They did not feel well, borderline heatstroke or something like that, but they have had water.”

'It's Tough for everyone' - Lando Norris

Lando Norris post the race was handling his media responsibilities and he was told about the health issues of Lewis and George. Surprisingly the fellow Brit was very brutal in his response. He said “Fu***inghell, it's tough for everyone! Why do they think they’ve— Everyone’s got heatstroke if they’ve got heatstroke.”

Lando Was battling his own issues with the heat of Singapore as he could have crashed three times in the race which could have been disastrous for him and his team. But he kept his head high hydrated himself and finished the race as number 1.

Talking about his race he said “It was an amazing race. I had a few too many close calls. I had a couple of moments in the middle but I was well in control otherwise. The car was mega so I could push and we were flying the whole race.”

Lando Norris is now in a good position to challenge Max Verstappen for this year's championship title. His team McLaren is already ahead of Red Bull in the constructors title. He is 52 points behind Max Verstappen and there are still 6 races left on this year's calendar.
