McLaren is now in a good position to win this year's driver's and constructors' titles after the Singapore GP. They are way ahead of Red Bull with 516 points in the constructors championship after finishing P1 and P3 in the Marina Bay circuit.
There are many different possibilities for McLaren to win this year's title. The last time McLaren won a Formula 1 title was with Lewis Hamilton who won his first Formula 1 championship in 2008. Here is the game plan for the McLaren F1 team.

An Eye on Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen was one of the fierce competitors as everyone knows. He will never leave a championship without a hard fight. So McLaren needs to get prepared for that battle with the Dutchman. They should win the remaining races to secure their championship advantage.
After Daniel Ricciardo secured the DHL Fastest Lap award in Singapore the point gap between Max and Lando is now 52 points. So McLaren needs to be careful as each point will be key in going to the final showdown in Abu Dhabi. They should not allow Max Verstappen to outpace Lando Norris at any cost.
Good with the strategy
Races are won by good drivers with good strategies. McLaren has good drivers so they need to be good at giving the right calls at the right time. Mercedes won many drivers and Constructors titles by making good strategies for each race. McLaren did a pretty good job at Singapore by making Oscar run for long and they ended up getting pole position for both their drivers. They are having a good pace in their cars so they should try to avoid backend fights while undercutting. They always need to stay ahead of both Red Bull drivers to win the championships.
Teamwork is the key
Having a good team can win you championships. McLaren seems to be on the right track by involving Oscar Piastri in securing the win for Lando Norris. The Australian was too good as he played the team man role at Singapore. McLaren drivers and engineers need to work along and find a way to increase the lead in the Formula 1 championship. In the next few races where the circuits are very long there needs good teamwork. So going to the race and helping each other will be game-changing for McLaren.
