Daniel Ricciardo lost his driver's seat at the Red Bull VCARB as Liam Lawson replaced the 35-year-old Australian. Ricciardo’s potential return to Formula 1 is looking very bleak as many teams almost confirmed their Driver's lineup for the next season.

It's not the end of the world for Daniel as he has already achieved a big name in his decade-long Formula 1 career. There are plenty of options out there for the Australian to pursue and let's see what could be his next potential move to lengthen his career.

Daniel Ricciardo has many career options

Return to Formula 1

He is not finished with Formula 1 yet as all he wants is to become the world champion at least once. So he will be putting all his efforts into making a comeback to Formula 1 next year or for the 2026 season. Only 12 drivers are confirmed for the 2026 season Daniel will be hoping to find a seat.

Triple Crown Challenge

As he already won in Monaco for Red Bull Daniel can take up the Triple Crown challenge which only one driver Grahan Hill has ever achieved in history. He can move to the Indy 500 and try to win the race. After that, he can try 24 hrs, Le Mans. Only Fernando Alonso is near to achieving this feat.

NASCAR or Indy 500

Daniel Ricciardo has been a huge fan of NASCAR since his childhood and is also very popular in the United States. He spoke about driving a NASCAR around Daytona. He could also take up the Indy 500 challenge as most of the Formula 1 racers try to win in this oldest race. It is a race that happens in Oval circuits and many drivers feel scared. Daniel is also one of those drivers as he said about being scared of those ovals.

Media Job or Ambassador role

Many Formula 1 drivers after retirement will take up Media jobs by giving commentary to Races, giving predictions, and taking interviews. Daniel Ricciardo has every potential to take up Media Job as he is loved by many drivers and media personnel.

Daniel was also offered PR duty by Red Bull’s Boss Helmut Marko and he could also take that job driving cars and doing stunts for Red Bull Promotions. But it will be humiliating after all things done to him by the Red Bull Leadership.

Potential retirement

We can also expect Daniel to leave his racing career quietly as he came to Europe as a young rookie from Australia and didn't spend much time in his country and with his friends. He is worth over 50 million dollars and he could invest the money and enjoy his time in Australia.
