The girlfriend of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, Alexandra Malena Saint Mleux, posted a photo of their cute puppy, Leo, on social media. The Monegasque driver, who placed third in the Driver's Championship during the 2024 season, is spending his off-season with his loved ones.
Leclerc and Saint Mleux have been dating for more than a year after being discovered together by Ferrari hospitality guests at the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix. Last year, the couple got a puppy named Leo, and they publicly posted many pictures of the animal on social media. The cute dog grabbed the show in the paddock and went to numerous racing weekends with the duo in 2024.
Leo and Charles Leclerc celebrated his birthday together, and the 21-year-old shared a series of photos on her Instagram Stories. He was also given a dessert fashioned like a heart and bone by Saint Mleux. Last year, the 27-year-old had a strong campaign, winning three races for the second time in three years.
Charles Leclerc struggling to take good care of dog
He was just 18 points behind McLaren driver Lando Norris in the championship, but he was on the verge of finishing P2 in the standings. Charles Leclerc, a Ferrari driver, said that his dog Leo "pees everywhere" in his home and that he finds it difficult to encourage him to use the pad. The eight-time Formula One racing champion revealed during his 2024 visit on the Beyond The Grid podcast.
"There's something quite funny. I tried to train him, [for him] to be clean. But he's still a puppy, he's like six months old," Leclerc said. " So, it's a little challenging at first. To allow him to urinate on the pads, Leclerc and his girlfriend placed a pee pad on the floor. He was essentially urinating all over the home at first.
Roscoe, the dog of Charles Leclerc's new teammate at Ferrari Lewis Hamilton, frequently joins the seven-time Formula One world champion in the paddock. Given that Hamilton's and Leo's motorhomes were next to one another, Leclerc revealed that Roscoe and Leo had previously met at Silverstone the previous year. Their interactions with their pets would greatly grow if the two become colleagues in 2025.
