In the last few days, the biggest news of Formula 1 is Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari and his first testing session. The Tifosi are celebrating the 7-time world champion like a 'Messiah,’ and he deserves every bit of it. But at the same time, they forget one key member of Ferrari, the 27-year-old Charles Leclerc.
The Monegasque will be the teammate of Lewis Hamilton this season and without him, Ferrari winning the championship is impossible. Being the No. 1 driver for the last four years, Leclerc has a separate fan base. His dominance over his teammates will be questioned as F1’s greatest driver will join him as a teammate.

But Leclerc doesn’t seem to be worried, as he spent the historic day of Hamilton testing a Ferrari car differently and that too with the Tifosi waiting outside the Fiarona Testing Track. Charles Leclerc's day was mostly out of the picture as everyone was occupied with Hamilton’s testing session.

Charles got his chance at the 2023 Ferrari car only after Lewis Hamilton finished his session. It was complete rain and Leclerc did his testing in wet conditions. The conditions were tougher than they were for Lewis, as the Monegasque felt it difficult to keep the car on the track. The weather was disappointing for him.

But Leclerc didn't disappoint the fans because he went straight to the Tifosi outside the Maranello track after his session. He jumped over the safety tyres, signed autographs, and took pictures. A fan showed him a Carlos Sainz jersey but Leclerc remembered his old friend and said, “That’s okay!” and signed the jersey. Some fans are even chanting, "Who cares about Max Verstappen? We have Charles Leclerc."

Leclerc has been the top performer for Ferrari in the last 6 years since his debut in the 2019 season. He outperformed his teammates by scoring more points and winning more races. But he hasn't been able to win the world championship. Having the 7-time world champion Lewis Hamilton by his side will be a great opportunity for him to learn more and perform well.
