Race Summary

The opening lap was crazy as Pecco Bagnaia had an extraordinary start to the race and sprinted past Alex Marque and clinched P2. As usual COTA track layout helped the riders who started the right side. By the end of lap 1, Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez and Bagnaia were the podium runners, followed by Quartararo and Morbidelli.

The esses of the COTA circuit also gave riders a tough day, as many riders went to the runoff areas and lost more time and positions. Fabio Quartararo was running for the podium, but a small mistake in lap 6 cost him a position to Morbidelli. His Yamaha bike had no chance against the Ducati bikes, as they were too fast on the straights, and Quartararo had to use hard braking to stay within their limits.

Honda Factory rider Joan Mir also made a mistake and crashed out of the race. But Marc Marquez and his brother Alex Marquez were racing alone on the front without any intervention. Finally, Marc Marquez had 5 out of 5 wins in the 2025 MotoGP season. He was the pole sitter and emerged as the victor in all occasions.
