The Grand Prix of the Americas qualifying is complete, with Ducati rider Marc Marquez leading the grid against VR 46 rider Fabio Giannantonio and brother Alex Marquez. The Spaniard is unstoppable once again at the COTA circuit in Austin. He has now clinched his third consecutive pole position in the 2025 MotoGP season.
Marc now has a bigger advantage against his rivals, Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia. The MotoGP qualifying table is also the grid for the upcoming 10-lap Sprint race that starts in a few hours from now. Pedro Acosta will start P4 after an impressive outing at the Austin circuit.
VR46 rider Franco Morbidelli, who finished on top during a practice session, will start from P5 ahead of Ducati Factory team rider Francesco Bagnaia in P6. Luca Marini is now P7 ahead of Joan Mir and Jack Miller. The final three riders of the Q2 session are KTM Tech 3 rider Maverick Vinales, Yamaha Factory rider Fabio Quartararo and Gresini Racing rider Fermin Aldeguer.
Marc Marquez is on a winning streak, as he won every race starting this year in Thailand,, followed by Argentina. The Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas race will be another feather in Marc Marquez's MotoGP winning record. This also shows the Ducati dominance in the MotoGP race, with the first three riders driving Ducati-powered bikes.
