Due to Charlotte's rich wrestling heritage, WWE frequently hosts major events in North Carolina. The Spectrum Centre already has a few games scheduled for next week. First up is a crucial Elimination Chamber qualifying match between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, who will compete for the final berth.
The feud between Seth Rollins and Balor, which dates back to 2016, will be reignited with this fight. The person who emerges victorious from that one will have to earn a berth in the chamber match on March 1 in Toronto.
Seth Rollins was seen in the audience being interviewed by Jackie Redmond, during which he discusses his upcoming matchup with Finn Balor in the Men's Elimination Chamber. Rollins challenged Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania and won the Men's Elimination Chamber Match. After that, Finn Bálor appeared and discussed Rollins' demise. According to Balor, everyone watched Rollins lose to CM Punk at the Netflix premiere before going crazy during the Royal Rumble.
"We all saw you lose to CM Punk on the Netflix debut; we all saw you lose your mind at the Royal Rumble... Lucky for me, the only thing that stands between me and Elimination Chamber... is a guy who's falling apart!" Finn Balor said to CM Punk during the interview. Taking this comment, Seth Rollins gave a warning to Finn Balor. "You are standing in my way... But after next week, you won't be sanding at all!" he said.
Seth Rollins and Finn Balor have a long history together
Rollins went on to claim that he and Balor have a long history together and always put on a show. Rollins added that he has to wrap up loose ends with Cody Rhodes and unresolved business with Punk. Rollins explained that although Balor is now obstructing his path, he will no longer do so after next week. With a smile, Bálor walked away.
